Sermorelin is a synthetic analogue of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH), corresponding to the biologically active N-terminal fragment known as GHRH 1–29. Supplied as a lyophilized powder at 10 mg per vial and verified at ≥99% purity by HPLC, it is formulated to meet the consistency and reliability demands of controlled laboratory research.
Sermorelin has been extensively studied in the context of growth hormone secretion and pituitary function. In in vitro and preclinical models, it has been investigated as an agonist at GHRH receptors, where it has been shown to stimulate the release of human growth hormone (HGH) from pituitary somatotroph cells. The compound has been referenced in the literature across research areas including endocrine signalling pathways, cell growth and metabolism, and age-related changes in the hypothalamic–pituitary axis. It has also been used as a comparative reference compound alongside other secretagogues — such as GHRP-2 and Ipamorelin — in studies examining combined or synergistic signalling models.
Sermorelin is supplied as a lyophilized powder and should be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water (BAC water) prior to use. Add an appropriate volume of BAC water directly to the vial, then swirl gently until the powder is fully dissolved. Do not shake the vial, as mechanical agitation can degrade peptide integrity. All handling should be carried out under sterile conditions using appropriate laboratory technique.
The lyophilized product should be stored in a cool, dry environment — ideally refrigerated — and protected from direct light and moisture. Once reconstituted, the solution should be kept refrigerated and used within a short period to maintain stability and research-grade integrity. Repeated freeze–thaw cycles should be avoided.
Every order of Sermorelin from Purity Base is accompanied by a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis (CoA), confirming purity and identity against documented quality standards.
